A harmonious pair of bronze putti, each modelled reclining on a rocky base and raised on a circular plinth of mottled pink and black granite edged with a gilt beaded frieze. The chubby figures are partially draped and surrounded by naturalistic details—ears of wheat, flowers and foliage—that soften the composition and give it a gently pastoral character.

With their warm, even patina and finely worked modelling, they read as classic decorative bronzes: intimate in scale but rich in detail, perfect as companion pieces for a mantel, console or desk.
